Vini e vigneti della Langhe ed Piemonte
Cosa era il Piemonte senza vino ? I vini i più conosciuti vengono da queste due zone molto famose vincino ad d'Alba: Barolo e Barbaresco. Dal 1980 i vini di queste due zone hanno la classificazione DOCG. Il vino Barolo si produce in undici communi: Barolo, Novello, La Morra, Verduno, Monforte d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga, Cherasco, Diano d'Alba, Roddi e Crinzane Cavour. Barolo e Barbaresco sono fatti con 100% Nebbiolo. Ma anche altri vini sono eccellenti: Favorita, Chardonnay, Roero Arneis, Nascetta (vecchia varietà che cresce solo a Novello e Monforte), Sauvignon, Dolcetto, Barbera, Freisa, Grignolino. Sicuramente vale la pena di visitare i produttori per degustare i fantastici vini e comprare qualche cassetta da portare a casa.

What would Piedmont be without wine ? The most famous wines come from the two most well known villages near Alba: Barolo and Barbaresco. Since 1980 those two regions have produced DOCG-wines. The following villages produce Barolo wines: Barolo, Novello, La Morra, Verduno, Monforte d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto,
Serralunga, Cherasco, Diano d'Alba, Roddi e Crinzane Cavour. Barolo and Barbaresco are 100% produced from Nebbiolo grapes. However there are many other excellent wines made from the following grapes: Favorita, Chardonnay, Roero Arneis, Nascetta (a very old grape, which grows only in Novello and Monforte), Sauvignon, Dolcetto, Barbera, Freisa, Grignolino. In any event, you should visit some

winemakers to taste the outstanding wines and buy some cases to take home. The price and value are still favourable!

Was wäre das Piemont ohne Wein ? Die berühmtesten Weine kommen wohl aus 2 bekannten Dörfern in der Nähe von Alba,
aus Barolo und Barbaresco. Seit 1980 tragen diese 2 Gebiete die DOCG-Klassifikation. In folgenden Gemeinden dürfen
Barolo-Weine vinifiziert werden: Barolo, Novello, La Morra, Verduno, Monforte d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto,
Serralunga, Cherasco, Diano d'Alba, Roddi e Crinzane Cavour. Barolo und Barbaresco werden aus 100% Nebbiolo-Trauben gemacht. Neben den
Nebbiolo-Trauben werden noch viele andere gute Weine aus folgenden Trauben vinifiziert: Favorita, Chardonnay,
Roero Arneis, Nascetta (eine alte Sorte, die nur in den Gemeinden Novello und Morforte angebaut wird), Sauvignon,
Dolcetto, Barbera, Freisa, Grignolino. Auf jeden Fall lohnt es sich, bei ein paar Weinbauern vorbeizuschauen
und die exzellenten Weine zu degustieren und ein paar Kisten mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Preis/Leistung stimmt
