Piemonte
Il Piemonte, particolarmente le Langhe con le sue "Colline del Barolo", è un
paesaggio collinoso con clima mediterraneo, che è situato ai piedi delle Alpi. Il Monte Rosa ed il M.Viso
regnano sopra la pianura del Po, il fiume più lungo dell'Italia.
Per molto tempo , questa regione, che merita di essere esplorata, è stata sconosciuta ai turisti
nei loro viaggi verso il sud. I tesori di storica cultura sonnecchiano nei musei, palazzi e chiese.
I palazzi dei Savoia furono dichiarati nel 1977 dall' UNESCO "tesori culturali dell' umanità".
Torino col suo barocco è una delle piu grandi città d'Italia con circa 1 milione di abitanti.
Torino si é formata fortemente attraverso la storia dei Savoia ed è inoltre la città nativa della Fiat.
Ivrea con Olivetti é considerata come "Silicon Valley" d'Italia. La Ferrero, industria dolciaria famosa per la
ciocolata, si trova ad Alba. Nelle colline di Roero e Langhe regna l'agricoltura, specialmente la viticultura.
Qui crescono il Dolcetto, Favorita, Chardonnay, Roero Arneis, Barbera, Nebbiolo ed
il Barbaresco e Barolo di reputazione mondiale. Discende da Alba anche il tartufo bianco odoroso ( tuber magnatum pico),
che viene offerto in ottobre sul più grande mercato dei tartufi: la " Fiera nazionale del tartufo".
In modo impressionante, il Piemonte collega la modernità e la tradizione.
Piedmont
Piedmont, particularly the Langhe with its ‘Colline del Barolo’ is a hilly region with Mediterranean climate, situated at the foot of the Alps.
The imposing Monte Rosa, Matterhorn and Monte Viso dominate the plain of the Po, the longest river in Italy. For a long time this region, which merits exploration, remained unknown to the tourists travelling south.
Many cultural treasures can be found in dozens of museums, palaces and churches.
In 1977 the Savoy palaces were designated ‘cultural heritage for humanity’ by UNESCO. Turin, with its baroque architecture is the fourth largest city in Italy, with approximately 1 million inhabitants.
Turin’s development was closely aligned with the history of the Savoy. It is the home of Fiat. Ivrea where Olivetti is based is called the ‘silicon valley of Italy’ Ferrero, a world famous producer of chocolates,
has its headquarters in Alba.
In the hills of the Roero and Langhe agriculture predominates, especially wine production. The area produces Dolcetto, Favorita, Chardonnay, Roero Arneis, Barbera, Nebbiolo as well as Barolo and Barberesco, which have a reputation worldwide. From Alba, white truffles also come. They are offered for sale in October at the largest truffle market called ‘fiera nazionale del tartufo’.
Piedmont connects modernity with tradition in a very impressive way.
Das Piemont
Das Piemont, besonders das Langhe mit seinen "Colline del Barolo", ist eine abwechslungsreiche
hügelige Landschaft mit mediterranem Klima, die zu Füssen der Alpen
liegt. Der imposante Monte Rosa prägt diese Kulisse. Am M.Viso entspringt
auch der Po, der längste Fluss Italiens.
Lange blieb diese wunderbare Gegend, die es noch zu erkunden gilt, von Touristen
auf dem Weg in den Süden unentdeckt und rechts liegengelassen. In den vielen
Museen, Palästen und Kirchen schlummern historische Kulturschätze.
Die Paläste der Savoyer sind 1977 von der UNESCO zum "Kulturerbe der
Menschheit"ernannt worden.
Turin mit seinem Barock ist mit ca. 1 Mio Einwohnern die viertgrösste
Stadt Italiens, stark geprägt durch die Geschichte der Savoyer und ist
die Heimatstadt von Fiat. Ivrea gilt mit Olivetti als das Silicon Valley Italiens
und in Alba ist Ferrero zu Hause. In den Hügeln des Roero und Langhe herrscht
Landwirtschaft. Hier wird der Dolcetto, Favorita, Chardonnay, Roero Arneis,
Barbera, Nebbiolo und der weltbekannte Barolo und Barbaresco angebaut. Auch von hier stammen
die duftenden weissen Trüffel, die im Oktober in Alba auf dem grössten
Trüffelmarkt, dem "Fiera Nationale del Tartuffo" angeboten werden.
Auf eindrückliche Weise verbindet das Piemont Moderne und Tradition.
